Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Framedeck ("Service"), operated by Peter Schafflechner ("we", "us", "our") based in Austria. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Framedeck is a Kanban-style task and content production management tool aimed at content creators and small teams. The Service is provided "as is" during the public Beta phase. Features and pricing may change.

2. Your Account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use Framedeck.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at support@framedeck.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Framedeck for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
• Upload, store, or transmit content that is illegal, infringing, harmful, harassing, defamatory, or obscene.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data, accounts, or to our systems.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where permitted by applicable law.
• Use the Service to send spam, distribute malware, or perform automated scraping beyond what our public API allows.
• Resell or commercially redistribute the Service without our written consent.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

• Framedeck offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe.
• All prices are shown in EUR. Austrian VAT (20%) is added automatically where applicable; B2B reverse charge applies for EU customers with a valid VAT ID.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time via the in-app billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — we do not pro-rate refunds for partial months.
• Refunds outside this policy are at our sole discretion. Please contact support@framedeck.app.
• We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice via email.

5. Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you create or upload to Framedeck (your "User Content"). By using the Service you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely as needed to operate the Service for you.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and for ensuring you have the rights to upload it.

6. Intellectual Property

The Framedeck name, logo, software, and all related materials are the property of Peter Schafflechner. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

7. Beta Service Disclaimer

Framedeck is currently in public Beta. The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important data.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@framedeck.app or using the in-app delete option (if available).

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or for any reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your access to the Service ends and your data may be deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Austria, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or via an in-app banner at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
